この講座では、地球規模の健康問題の原則と理論、世界の人々の健康を改善する上での主要な課題と論争、および政策の問題と課題などを分析、解釈するために必要な定量的手法を知ることができます。 それぞれのモジュールには、健康と外交政策、健康ガバナンス、急性疾患の監視、非感染性疾患、疾病の負担、ユニバーサル・ヘルス・カバレッジ、医療制度の強化、医療財政、健康と高齢化のための人的資源といったテーマが含まれています。

I am an undergraduate student from the Macau University of Science and Technology School of Pharmacy who took Global Health Policy due to the determination to pursue a master's degree in public health in Hong Kong and Japan. By taking this course, I have gained a deeper understanding of areas such as UHC, the Japanese public health system, common challenges of public health in an aging society and so on. Am a graduate in Community Development, my work since graduation has been around Monitoring Health projects and analyzing Biostatistics data. For the past 5 years i have worked closely with community health projects and am confidence in handling such projects. I took the course because i want to specialize now in health especially Public Health, it has helped me to get full confidence in handling pandemics and able to discuss issues around global health I am happy to complete this course as it has lifted my confidence level in discussing UHC and Pandemics. A great course to understand key global health topics such as Universal Health Coverage, Health Security and Pandemics and Health Security Response. Quite insightful! The course may require some updating to tackle current issues and learnings such as those on COVID-19.
