How to attend Coursera courses

This section explains how to access the videos of Coursera's online courses!

(All videos from the University of Tokyo are available for free!)

Note that the paid version of the course has an optional quiz at the end to measure your understanding (credit is awarded for a certain number of correct answers), and you can earn a certificate if you complete the specified percentage of correct answers.
In this article, we explain how to watch the course videos for free using the home page of the latest course, "Contemporary Garden City Concept from Asia" (Coursera).

1. Go to this site https://www.coursera.org/ and Click [Participation is free] in the upper right corner.

2. Enter your first name, email, and password, then click [Participation is free].

2'. If you have one of the accounts in the blue box, you can also create one by tying it together.

3. Click [end] in the upper right corner.

3'. If you have time, please click [to the next] and participate in the Coursera survey.

4. Type the course name in the search box at the top and click on the “magnifying glass” symbol.

5.   This time, we type  “Contemporary Garden City Concept from Asia.”
Then, the result appeared in the Shumnail image style as below.
Clicking the thumbnail, the site will move forward to the course site. 

6. Click [Enroll for Free].

7. Select “Full Course, No Certificate” and click “Continue”.

8. The outline of the course will then appear. You can proceed with the course by clicking [next] in the upper right corner.
