Module 2 launched! (The Power of Words)

Kukaiare haiku gatheringsinwhich several poets gather to evaluate and comment on eachother’swork. They are still practiced today.In Module 2, we willexaminethekukai of haiku, one of the oldestforms of fixed verse.Students are encouraged to think about what each person has in mindwhileexpressing their evaluationof a haiku at a kukai.The kukai will be followed by a discussionsession in which the participants will discuss the meaningof the‘kukai’they participated in on that day in terms of place and space.
